Yahoo Corp. has acquired Ludicorp Research and Development Ltd., the company behind popular photo sharing site Flickr.

According to the company's blog site, the two services will remain separate for the time being, but Flickr features will be integrated into Yahoo's existing photo hosting service, Yahoo Photos. Users will also be able to log into Flickr using their Yahoo password.

No financial terms were disclosed.

The photo sharing Web site allows users to upload digital images from computers and cameras to a personalized Web page where they can post their photos or create photo albums.
