Hey, free stuff is always cool, but this just doesn't seem that...exciting, you know?
That's what, like 25 or 26 Shuffles? That's about the same cost to them as if they were giving away 1 Powermac.
Once again, giving away free stuff is cool no matter what, but it just seems like Apple could have gotten a LOT more attention and publicity if they were giving away a few more than that.
I'm not saying they have to spend a million bucks on this, but giving away less than $3,000 of merchendise isn't gonna get much press, you know?

Only mac people would complain about free stuff.
Wow. I only said "I'm not complaining" about 3 different ways.
Would it help if I painted a picture or something?
EDIT:
And since you missed my point, I'll say it another way:
I'm not saying they have to spend more money, but instead of giving out 1 per week for the next 26 weeks, why don't they give out one per DAY for the next month? That would be the same amount of prizes but it would get a lot more attention, which is, I'm guessing, the point of this entire thing.
I dont care how many times you say you're not complaing, fact is, you're complaining.
If I stand in front of you and kick you in the shins and after every time I kick you i say "im not kicking you" doesnt mean I'm not kicking you.
If Apple wanted to give every Mac user 100 dollars they'd all say well, thats nice but can i have it in five 20's instead of two 50's. It's just the ridiculousness of Mac users raised expectations that is so aggravating.

I made a suggestion that I thought would benefit Apple. I look and see that they're spending $3,000 on something that will get a little bit of attention and I say "Hey, if they do it THIS way then their same $3,000 will get even MORE attention."
I don't think that a suggestion like that is complaining, and I don't understand why it aggravates you.
If coming up with ideas to make Apple's money go to better use annoys you well...ok, I'm sorry.

Yeah, you better be sorry. Replacing "complaints" with "suggestions." It's the RDF coming from SWC.
