REALbasic Design Awards 2005 Winners Announced

by , 9:15 AM EST, March 30th, 2005

REAL Software announced Wednesday the winners of its REALbasic Design Awards for 2005. The awards are given out to REALbasic developers based on creativity, ease of use, design, utility and supporting information, the company said.

"Judging these awards gets more challenging every year, and this year was no exception," stated Geoff Perlman, president and CEO of REAL Software. "We encourage everyone to learn out more about these award-winning products, as they easily represent excellence in software design and utility, and they show how REALbasic helps bring ideas to life."

This year's overall winner was TimeExposure's ProSelect, that lets photographers help their clients narrow down photographs, design layouts and more.

Other winners included Waterfall Software's iVideo to organize iPhoto and iTunes files using playlists and thumbnails Oranged.net's Studiometry that tracks client, project, time and contact information; Mien Software's PhotoEdit to create professional-quality images and others.
