DV Dailies - High Quality QuickTime Video Now Free At Endorphin.com [CORRECTED]

Endorphin.com is now offering its cache of beautifully shot, high definition videos in a new magazine style format, free of charge. Endorphin.com is a video magazine that offers news stories and articled in high-quality, QuickTime video, and the new format brings these videos to viewers for free for the first time.

According to the Endorphin.com president Bob Franco, the Web site's new magazine style is intended to be easier to use, giving sponsors more exposure in the process. That increased exposure, and the accompanying increase in advertising revenue, has allowed the company to publish its content for free.

Endorphin's emphasis is on original digital video content that can't be found elsewhere, including content from aspiring filmmakers.

"What's unique about Endorphin.com is that we produce almost all of our own content," Mr. Franco told The Mac Observer. "We aren't showing videos you've already seen on television or elsewhere. We also serve as a platform for filmmakers who have professionally-made content. If I like it, I'll put it up."

All of Endorphin.com's videos are QuickTime compatible, and take advantage of QuickTime's high quality codex.

You can find more information about the videos at Endorphin's Web site. The home page currently features videos about GM's hydrogen fuel cell car, a surfing video, a formula racing video, a music video, and a video about P-51 Mustang airplanes.
