by , 6:00 AM EDT, April 26th, 2005

RadTech has released its BT-510 mouse, a wireless, Bluetooth-enabled, three-button mouse that can electronically reverse its right and left buttons to accommodate left-handed users. The BT-510 sells for US$59.95, or for $69.95 bundled with the RadPak travel case, a semi-rigid clamshell case that stores the mouse along with an extra pair of AAA batteries. The case is $14.95 is purchased separately. The BT-510 is available in black or white and requires Mac OS X v10.2.8 or higher.

Subject: No Trackball?

I'm still waiting for a BT trackball. Never been one for using a mouse in the first place. Shouldn't the trackball be even easier to produce?

So what? ANY programmable multi-button mouse can "electronically switch" the right and left buttons. I've done that with my Kensington mouse so that I can use it with my left hand while my right arm is immobilized after rotator cuff surgery.

Subject: It's a big deal because it's not "programmable"

You're kensington requires you open up software to switch, if you had bothered reading the page the MOUSE ITSELF will switch by simply holding the button and scroll for a certain period of time
