Apple Patches GarageBand to Address Several Minor Issues

Apple Computer has released GarageBand 2.0.1, an update for its consumer-oriented music recording solution. The patch addresses several minor issues affecting the software.

From Apple's release notes: "GarageBand 2.0.1 addresses issues with duplicating tracks, playhead snapping to grid, joining software instrument regions on adjacent tracks, making precise adjustments to volume and pan settings, and converting Software Instrument Apple Loops based on drum sounds into Real Instrument Apple Loops.

"It also addresses an issue where recorded Real Instrument regions may not properly adjust to changes in the project key."

The update is 14 megabytes, and it supports 15 different languages. You can find more information on the release at Apple's support site. GarageBand 2.0.1 requires GarageBand 2.0, which is part of the iLife '05 suite.
