Aspyr Shows Off New Logo, Launches 'Aspyrations' Contest

Games publisher Aspyr Media, which mostly works in the Mac space but has produced hybrid and Windows titles as well as three GameBoy releases, on Thursday introduced a redesigned logo. The company also launched a contest tied to the new logo: "What do you Aspyr to do?"
The company explains: "We're going bigger and bolder with our new logo, and we're looking to project an attitude that expresses that. We've tossed around a few ideas here - for example, we 'Aspyr' to entertain the world... to set a good example... to create products that rule... to say please and thank you... to make Mom proud... to Wang Chung tonight... etc. Get the idea? Now we're asking for your help."
Contestants can submit their "Aspyrations" through June 10; the winners will be randomly selected the week of June 20. The grand prize is an iPod while the first place winner will get an iPod shuffle. Five second place finishers will receive a copy of The Sims 2, which is shipping soon, and 15 third place contestants will score Aspyr t-shirts.
