Elgato's EyeHome Updated for Tiger, More

Elgato Systems on Friday released version 1.6 of the EyeHome software that drives the company's solution for displaying a Mac's digital content on a TV. This upgrade includes support for Mac OS X v10.4 "Tiger" as well as new menus that make navigating the Music and Web sections easier and bookmarked Safari RSS feeds that display in the RSS format. In addition, performance optimizations put less demand on the Mac's processor when accessing EyeTV recordings and load files from the EyeTV Archive faster.

This is a free update for existing users. System requirements call for a 500MHz processor or a G5 Power Mac, Mac OS X v10.3 or higher, QuickTime 6.4 and QuickTime for Java 1.4.2.
