Videocue 2 Offers Podcasting and Videoblog Support

Vara Software on Wednesday released version 2 of Videocue, its software for creating video presentations, complete with storyboards and a scrolling teleprompter. This upgrade enables the creation of podcasts and videoblogs, offering integration with such commonly used Weblogs as Typepad, LiveJournal, Blogger and MovableType.

This is a free update for existing users. The standard version of Videocue 2 is US$39.99 while Videocue Pro 2 sells for $89.99. The latter adds such features as support for multiple webcams, built-in professional titles, full screen prompting, motion editing controls and support for chroma key (blue or green screen).

Both applications are compatible with Mac OS X v10.4 "Tiger" and can take advantage of Core Image transitions and other Tiger-only features. System requirements call for Mac OS X v10.3.5 (v10.4.2 required for Tiger-only features) and a Quartz Extreme-capable video card.
