OWC Adds 320GB Version of Mercury Elite Pro HD, Drops Prices

Other World Computing (OWC) on Thursday added a US$229.99 320GB model to its line of Mercury Elite Pro USB 2.0/1.1 hard drives. The company also dropped the prices on the other versions of the drive, which now start at $99.99 for an 80GB drive. Other storage capacities available include 160GB ($139.99), 200GB ($159.99) and 250GB ($189.99). All the drives spin at 7200RPM and feature a 2MB buffer; they ship with Dantz Retrospect and Intech Speedtools software, along with power and USB 2.0 cables. Mac OS X v10.1 or higher is required.

The 200GB, 250GB, & 320GB drives have 8MB buffers. (Or so they say...)
