Apple CEO Steve Jobs has been listed as one of the top 30 Greatest Business Leaders of the 20th Century according to the September issue of Fast Company magazine.

Mr. Jobs received 26th position in the list, behind such notables as Andrew Grove of Intel, Bill Gates of Microsoft, and William Hewist and David Packard of Hewlett-Packard.

The top 10 on the list were Samuel Walton (Wal-Mart), Walt Disney (Walt Disney), Bill Gates (Microsoft), Henry Ford (Ford Motor), John Morgan (J.P. Morgan Chase), Alfred Sloan Jr. (General Motors), Ray Kroc (McDonald's) and David Packard (Hewlett-Packard).

The list was based on a survey of 7,000 executives by Harvard Business Schools.

That would be William Hewlett...

Subject: No Howard Hughes

Interesting no Howard Hughes who was a billionaire when a billion was a lot of money.

It is interesting that Alfred Sloan, Jr. was the only one in the top ten and one of the few business leaders who was not the founder of their company. He was a true business giant and really should have been number 1.
