by , 12:25 PM EDT, August 29th, 2005
CS Odessa on Monday announced that its latest application, the Web site mapping tool ConceptDraw WebWave, will ship Sept. 27. Aimed at Web site designers, programmers and administrators, the software helps users create diagrams and maps for planning out Web sites.
ConceptDraw WebWave includes a Color Scheme Generator, a Web site File Structure Scanner and several task-specific Wizards that guide users through the basic stages of creating Web site development documentation. The program also includes drawing tools as well as the ability to connect to any ODBC compliant database and visualize its data in diagrams.
ConceptDraw WebWave can import and export from and to a large number of raster, vector, multimedia and text formats, including HTML, FLASH, PDF and MS Visio XML.
Pricing will be US$299 when ConceptDraw WebWave ships, although anyone who pre-orders it before then can save $100. System requirements call for Mac OS X v10.1.5 (v10.2.5 recommended), a G3 processor, 128MB RAM (256MB recommended) and 200MB hard drive space.
