SDK Lets FileMaker Pro Solutions Work With Digital Storage Manager

MetaCommunications Inc. on Monday introduced a FileMaker Pro software developer kit (SDK) that enables developers to use their FileMaker Pro solutions with the company's asset management software Digital Storage Manager. With the SDK in place, users can query information stored in FileMaker Pro and associate it with files or folders managed by Digital Storage Manager.

The FileMaker Pro SDK features FileMaker Lookup, which enables on-demand searches of information with AppleScript and MetaCommunications' MetaScript scripting language, as well as FileMaker Bridge, which automatically keeps Digital Storage Manager in sync with the FileMaker Pro database. Reference documentation and sample solutions are also included.
