New Rage Software Utility Automates Google Sitemap Creation

Rage Software on Monday released Google Sitemap Automator 1.0, a utility that automates the creation of Google Sitemaps, which let webmasters keep Google informed of which pages the search engine should index, the frequency of those pages' changes and how important each page is relative to the others on a site.

The utility automates that process by using filters and preset conditions, so that webmasters don't have to manually soft through the pages on their sites. They can then upload the resulting Google Sitemap to their sites and inform Google of its location.

Pricing is US$29.95. A free trial version is available.
