Club 21 ishop to be Asia's Largest Apple Store

Singapore's fashion retailer, Club 21, plans on opening a 10,000 square foot Apple retail center on November 19, according to The Business Times. The store, dubbed The Club 21 ishop, will sell a mixture of Macs, iPods, and accessories.
The size of the store, which will occupy the third floor of a Singapore retail center, dwarfs the size of other Asian Apple resellers. The Club 21 ishop will have five training rooms, an authorized Apple service center, and a cafe.

I'm there. No Apple shops in SE Asia as of yet. Which is weird because people here are probably more trend-conscious than in other parts of the world. There's good money to be made here that Apple is just missing out on.
The handful of shops in Bangkok have the stuffy atmosphere of the independent Apple retailers in the US before the Apple stores. The iPod nano wrapped in cellophane and behind a dusty window doesn't look all that apealing. Prices are 20% higher than in the U.S.
