EvolutionTV Can Now Timeshift Live TV, More

by , 1:00 PM EDT, October 26th, 2005

Miglia Technology on Wednesday released EvolutionTV 2.5, an update that enables users to pause, rewind and fast-forward live TV. In addition, a third party DVD burning tool called MovieGate has been added. European users can also now access and synchronize recordings with the online TV guide tvtv.

The software works with Miglia's EvolutionTV hardware, which plugs into a Mac via USB 2.0 and can record video from cable, satellite, antenna or other sources. This update is free for current users; the full package is US$249. Mac OS X v10.3, a 1GHz G4 processor and 256MB of RAM are required.
