by , 12:00 AM EST, December 21st, 2005

Runtime Revolution has released version 4 of Ten Thumbs Typing Tutor. This upgrade to the personal typing trainer includes integration with iTunes, so that users can download and type song lyrics, as well as control music playback from within the software. In addition, it incorporates the Five Habits of Highly Effective Touch Typing.

Ten Thumbs Typing Tutor 4 also features adaptive lessons that adjust to typists' skill levels, a Typing Viking character who is part of "an all-new multimedia user experience," Brick Factory and Safari Park games and new network and teacher options.

Upgrades from previous versions are US$8.95. The full software is $25.95 and requires Mac OS X v10.1.3, a 500MHz G4 processor, 256MB RAM and 800 x 600 resolution.
