FYI - I placed an order for the ipod video 30 gb for my daughter for her christmas present on a Sunday off of Apple's website. I wanted to order it from Apple so that I could get it engraved with your normal lovey dovey inscriptions. They emailed the tracking number so that I could track it coming from China? hmmm, on thursday I received it as I watched it go from China to Alaska to Indiana and then to Seattle at which time it was on a truck to be deliverd to me to Sultan, WA in Snohomish county. Received it 11:00am thursday 4 days after I ordered it. But wait! I asked for it to be engraved, can they engrave it that quickly and get it to me that fast? Hmmm, so I opened it up breaking the shrink wrap and the seal and lo and behold it was engraved exactly as I ordered it. HOW DID THEY DO THAT ???? Its one thing to have a hot item, its another thing to have a hot item and have your act together.
