MacUpdate Offers Free Membership for 2006

MacUpdate announced on Monday that it is offering free memberships for 2006 through the month of January. The MacUpdate Web site tracks new and updated Mac-related applications. Although anyone can visit the site free of charge, subscribers get added benefits including customizable site layouts, software watch lists, email notifications of updates, download histories, and more. Membership is regularly US$20 a year, but is free through January 31, 2006. New users can sign up at the MacUpdate Web site.
