No Live Macworld Expo Keynote Broadcast

No Live Macworld Expo Keynote Broadcast

by , 1:50 PM EST, January 4th, 2006

It looks like Apple is continuing with its policy of delaying the QuickTime Web broadcast of Steve Job's keynote at Macworld Expo. According to a post at MacRumors, Apple Investor Relations confirmed that the keynote will not be broadcast live, but that it will be available later. The Expo keynote is scheduled for 9am Pacific time on January 10. TMO will provide coverage of the keynote, along with other events throughout the week.

Macworld Expo runs from January 9 through January 13 at the Moscone Convention Center in San Francisco.

Okay, delayed quicktime stream is now traditional, but what I want to know is if Apple will make the keynote available as a video podcast?

Any rumors about that?

It is disappointing.. no live stream.

Can someone inside the Macworld stream it out? That will be known as candidcast!

I think the delay last year was 8 or 9 hours, 8 or 9 pm EST.

In the past TMO (Brian) has had the best coverage. Haven't heard they were going to do that this year, though.
