If it wasn't for the price of gas I would drive up from San Diego to check out the grand opening. However, I could use a new t-shirt.
I wonder if it has a "theatre" for classes and such. The Apple Store at University Town Center in the north part of San Diego is little more than a nook. The Fashion Valley store is farther from me, but has more amenities such as a belly up Genius Bar and a presentation theatre.

Next they're going to have to build one in my subdivision.![]()
Looks like another t-shirt for me and -- fingers crossed -- maybe the grand prize!
Seriously, though, this is a great location for them.

Hmmm... I was wondering if Apple was going to build an Apple in my own back yard, too. I live in Lake Forest, right off of El Toro and Trabuco, and I am maybe a ten minute drive from the new store. So, what neighborhood do you live in?
Sorry. That was me. I forgot to log-in, before posting.

How about if we meet at the Del Taco on the corner of El Toro and Trabuco for lunch?
(Guest knows why this is freakin hilarious, but for those of you who don't live near there, there are actually two Del Tacos on that corner, across the street from each other. Wild, eh?)
Sorry I missed the lunch invite. If I had read it this morning, I would have taken you up on the offer... as long as you had specified either the Del Taco by the Sater Bros market, or the one by the Vons market. Maybe tomorrow - seriously. If you are interested in meeting, look up my email address from my profile, and shoot me a line.
I am looking for a new IT job (just got laid-off), and I am trying to land one that has something to do with Macs. So, I am trying to expand my list Mac-using contacts. Besides, it is nice to just meet up with other Mac users.

Funny stuff on the Del Tacos.
Here's a link for those who don't know the area.

BTW, I'm on the other side of The 5, in Aliso.

Sorry to hear that. I'll definitely keep my ears open.
