I just updated my iMac iSight, no problems thus far. I notice that it is "snappier"

Heh... I'm still stuck with 10.2.8, drooling away at Tiger. Oh well, it might happen some day.

There goes my PowerBook's uptime. It was at 30 days and counting. Was the last update a month ago already?

Subject: 2 separate Updates, Intel and Power PC

There are 2 "separate" updates for 10.4.5:

One for Intel on my Intel iMac 17" and one for PowerPC on my iMac G5 17".

I've updated a Dual G4 tower, an upgraded Blue & White tower with G3/1G CPU, and a G4/700 iMac lamp.

No issues.

The first update listed by TMO is iChat Video Conferencing, yet I don't see it mentioned in the Apple documentation. Can anyone find a source for this?

...long-ish boot up afterwards (as is normal after such updates), and everything seems to be running well.

More than likely that is to keep the size of the downloads resonable.

There's no need for Intel users to get the PowerPC code and visa versa.

Hrmm, yeah, I now see the 'iChat video conferencing" in the Software Update dialogue, but nowhere in Apple's release notes is it mentioned. Interesting... how's one to know what was fixed?
