Synchronize! Pro X, from Qdea, was updated to version 5.0 on Tuesday. The updated version of the file synchronization and backup application is now Universal Binary, making it compatible with PowerPC and Intel-based Macs. It is also capable of making bootable backups from Intel-based Macs that run from wither FireWire or USB 2.0 external hard drives, and added a force eject option to Completion Operations.

Synchronize! Pro X 5.0 is available for download at the Qdea Web Site, and is priced at US$99.95. The update is free if you purchased a license in the past two years.
