Kodak Debuts Bluetooth-, WiFi-Equipped Digital Cameras, Upgrade to EasyShare Software

Kodak has released a new Bluetooth- and WiFi-equipped EasyShare digital cameras, as well as version 6.0 of its EasyShare software. The new Bluetooth camera, dubbed V610, features six-megapixel resolution, 10X optical zoom, a pocket-sized form factor, and anti-blur technology. It can share images with any Bluetooth-enabled device up to 30 feet away. V610 will ship next month for US$449.

The new WiFi-enabled camera, EasyShare-One6 MP, will ship this summer for $299, with an optional WiFi card available for $99. It features 6.1-megapixel resolution, a three-inch LCD, 256MB of internal memory, and the ability to e-mail photos from it.

Finally, EasyShare 6.0 features a new user interface and a photo card printing feature that enables users to turn images into invitations, announcements, and more. Kodak said that the software, which is a free download, will be available next month.
