'The Insanely Great Story of How the Mac Was Made' Becomes Free Audio Book

Derek Warren has announced that he is embarking on a project called Macintosh Folklore Radio, which will turn Andy Hertzfeld's book Revolution in the Valley: The Insanely Great Story of How the Mac Was Made into a freely available audio book, with the author's blessing. Mr. Warren already has segments of it available on his Web site, with new ones to come each week.

He said in a press release he issued: "I've always had a penchant for preserving computer history. Andy's chronicles are a wonderful example of what happens when the culture surrounding any given technology is preserved and retold, rather than thrown away."

RSS feeds for Macintosh Folklore Radio are available, and listeners can also subscribe to it via an iTunes Music Store podcast.
