Mac Gaming News - Sims 2 Gets Update, Expansions Get Universal Binaries

by , 5:10 PM EDT, June 2nd, 2006

Aspyr Media on Friday issued a bug fix update to The Sims 2, along with Universal Binary patches for its University and Nightlife expansion packs. All three are free for registered users.

The Sims 2 Rev E upgrade fixes an Intel Mac bug that caused all of a couple's offspring to have identical faces. In addition to Intel support, the expansion packs received a fix to a problem that caused a random crash after a baby was born. The University 1.1 Rev A update also fixes terrain camera tracking.
