SmileOnMyMac, Econ Technologies, and Nova Media on Wednesday updated their PDFpen, ChronoSync, and iSync plug-in applications. Version 2.4 of PDFpen, which is also available in a Pro version that allows the creation of PDF forms, adds support for PDF comments and allows users to display and navigate from a list of comments, notes and imprints. PDFpen requires Mac OS X v10.2.5, with prices starting at US$49.95 for the standard version and $94.95 for the Pro edition.
Econ's automated synchronization and backup software ChronoSync 3.3.1 is a maintenance release that fixes bugs and offers four performance improvements. It's a free update for registered users. The full version is $30 and requires Mac OS X v10.3 or v10.4.
Finally, Nova Media has updated its iSync plug-ins for users who have updated to Mac OS X v10.4.7. The plug-ins allow cell phone owners to use iSync 2.3 to synchronize contact information between those devices and their computers, and the company said that the new OS update broke compatibility with some older plug-ins. The plug-ins sell for €9.95 and require Mac OS X v10.4.7 and iSync 2.3.
