Xounds Gets Universal Update

Xounds Gets Universal Update

by , 12:55 PM EDT, July 13th, 2006

Unsanity on Thursday updated its "haxie" Xounds as a Universal Binary, in addition to improving the interface, adding an automatic version checker, and fixing bugs. The software also now includes Application Enhancer 2.0.1 and Smart Crash Reports 1.1, two utilities that Unsanity provides separately for free.

Xounds offers Appearance Sounds in Mac OS X. It converts existing OS 8 and OS 9 sound sets and allows users to designate audio feedback when they navigate through menus, drag windows, empty the trash, and more. Pricing is US$10 and Mac OS X v10.3 is required.
