SeeFile 2.5 Adds Support For QuickTime, AVI, Flash

Seefile Software is unveiling at this week's Siggraph 2006 Conference in Boston SeeFile 2.5, which adds support for QuickTime, AVI and Flash files. Aimed at photographers, printers, and graphic designers, SeeFile lets users save files to their hard drives and make them available for clients to view and comment on through a Web browser, without the need to upload them.

SeeFile is also compatible with a wide range of audio, video, and still image formats, including AIFF, MP3, AVI, DVI, MPEG-1, -2, and -4, JPEG, GIF, TIFF, PSD, and others. It can also handle native RAW files from a variety of SLR digital cameras.

SeeFile sells for US$399 for the software only. Purchasing the application pre-loaded on Mac hardware starts at $549 for a refurbished Power Mac G4.
