FastMac Intros 16X Dual Layer SuperDrive

FastMac on Friday introduced a 16X Dual Layer SuperDrive upgrade that's compatible with Mac Pro, G4 iMacs, eMacs, and G3, G4, and G5 Power Macs. Priced at US$79.95, it features 12X DVD-RAM read/write, 8X Dual Layer DVD-/+R read/write, 16X Single Layer DVD-/+R read/write, and 48X CD-R read/write.

Their web site has a $99.95 price listed, but even at $79.95 it's twice as expensive as the commonly available Pioneer 111D with essentially the same specs.
