Matrox Announces Multi-monitor Adapters for the Mac
by , 9:35 AM EST, November 30th, 2006
Matrox Graphics announced the immediate availability of Mac-compatible versions of the DualHead2Go and TripleHead2Go multi-display adapters on Thursday. The adapters connect to the video-out port on Desktop and portable Macs, and let you use either two or three external displays as a single monitor without requiring any additional hardware or software.

That looks very nice, though, I wonder, would there be a performance hit?
Answered my own question:
Will DualHead2Go slow down my computer?
No. DualHead2Go does not depend on the limited bandwidth of your USB connection, nor does it depend on the limited bandwidth of any PC Card bridge. Your 2D, 3D and video performance will be just as good as on your notebook alone. The more powerful your existing graphics card, the more powerful your multi-monitor environment.
