Intego Debuts Dual Protection For Mac Users with Windows Installs

by , 10:25 AM EST, January 9th, 2007

Intego on Tuesday introduced its Dual Protection (DP) product line, which is aimed at Mac users who have Windows installed on their computers via Boot Camp, Parallels, or some other solution. The company partnered with security software maker BitDefender to offer Intego VirusBarrier X4 DP and Intego Internet Security Barrier X4 Anitspam Edition DP.

On display at Intego's Macworld booth this week, VirusBarrier combines the company's solution with BitDefender Antivirus v10 for Windows, while the other package contains Intego NetBarrier X4, Intego VirusBarrier X4, Intego Personal Antispam X4, and BitDefender's anti-virus, firewall, and anti-spam tools for Windows.

Pricing for the new suites was not available as The Mac Observer published this article, nor had Intego added product pages to its Web site yet.
