Humble Daisy Releases ProfCast 2.1

Humble Daisy, Inc. released a major upgrade to its ProfCast software on Monday. The new version 2.1 has been completely rewritten and includes a host of new improvements.

The new version adds, for example, the ability share documents in .m4a and .mov format, the ability to generate Profcast documents that are self-contained and portable, stereo level indicators, and improved settings management. The complete list of enhancements is available on the ProfCast Website.

"ProfCast is a versatile, powerful, yet very simple to use tool for recording presentations including PowerPoint and/or Keynote slides for creating enhanced podcasts. ProfCast provides a low cost solution for recording and distributing lectures, special events, and presentations as podcasts. ProfCast offers an integrated workflow that makes creating, recording, and publishing podcasts easy," according to the Website.

ProfCast 2.1 is free to registered owners of version 2.0. It requires Mac OS X 10.4 and there is a 15-day trial period. It is priced at US$29.95.
