Apple updated its MacBook lineup on Tuesday with faster processors. The new models look like their predecessors, but feature 2.0GHz or 2.16GHz Core 2 Duo processors. The MacBook is still available in black or white with a 13.3-inch display, and ships standard with 1GB RAM, 4MB shared L2 cache, 667MHz frontside bus, an Intel GMA 950 graphics processor, Gigabit Ethernet, built-in 802.11n AirPort Extreme and Bluetooth 2.0 + EDR, stereo audio out, built-in microphone, built-in iSight camera, one FireWire 400 and two USB 2.0 ports, video out, and an Apple Remote.

Observer Comments
Your Apple TV has a better graphics card because the better graphics card, together with the cheapest processor available, is just fast enough to play 720p content, while the cheaper graphics card would need a much much more expensive processor to achieve the same thing. So the Apple TV does actually contain the _cheapest_ combination of CPU and graphics card to achieve what it is supposed to do.
The MacBook has about four times the CPU power of the Apple TV, and that is important to me. And it is plenty to display 720p video without a powerful GPU.
