NewerTech Ships Battery Charger for Intel Mac Laptops

NewerTech announced the immediate availability of its Intelligent Battery Charging Station for Apple's MacBook and MacBook Pro on Thursday. The charging station charges and conditions the batteries for Apple's Intel-based laptop lineup.

The unit includes two battery bays that can be used for charging two batteries in succession, or to charge one battery while conditioning another. NewerTech states that the charger station will extend battery lifetime and help deliver the longest possible battery run time.

The Intelligent Battery Charging Station is available in specific sizes for the MacBook and MacBook Pro, and is priced at US$149.95.
