Art Directors Toolkit 5.1 Updates Pantone Data, More

Code Line Communications released Art Directors Toolkit 5.1 on Friday. The update to the graphic design reference application added the latest Pantone Color Bridge CMYK data for the Pantone solid coated and solid uncoated color libraries.

The new version also added the ability to scroll through font families and styles with a mouse scroll wheel, and to view only glyphs that include a defined HTML entity.

Art Directors Toolkit 5.1 is priced at US$39.95, and is available for download at the Code Line Communications Web site. The update is free for version 5 users, or $19.95 for earlier versions.

This is one of those small wonderful tools that become absolutely essential. Almost by stealth. You don't think you need it because you're not an Art Director, then you find yourself using it all the time for important little things.

I love it.
