Apple Store Goes Offline

Apple's Web-based store went offline early Monday morning, and was replaced with the familiar "We'll be back soon" note. That note often indicates that Apple is adding or updating its product lineup, although the company does take its store offline for routine maintenance as well. Customers have been hoping for new iMacs, iPods, and an ultra-thin MacBook Pro -- maybe this is the day they get their wish.
