The Sound Guy, Inc. announced the immediate availability of ReSpacializer 1.0 on Friday. ReSpacializer is an Audio Units and VST plug-in that lets users control audio panning and surround sound.

The plug-in supports up to eight input channels, allows users to individually position each channel, and supports selection of angle, spread and spin for each audio source. It also offers simulated surround sound through headphones, and includes variable-rate source rotation, low-frequency effect, bounce to disk monitoring, and more.

ReSpacializer is Universal Binary, and requires Mac OS X 10.4 or higher and at least a 1GHz processor. It is priced at US$99, and is available at the SFX Machine Web site.
