by , 11:55 AM EDT, September 10th, 2007
Culture Catch announced Monday a party on September 28th, 2007, during the 3rd Annual Podcast & New Media Expo. The party will be free and open to attendees of the trade show, and The Mac Observer is the official media sponsor of the event. The party will include a raffle of more than $5,000 worth of prizes from Gibson, Griffin Technology, JBL, Monster Cable, Shure, and Ultimate Ears.
Culture Catch host Dusty Wright said that the event will feature a wide variety of entertainment MC'd by Hayden Black from Goodnight Burbank, live music from the all girl trio Von Iva, DJ David Starfire, Aerial Arts from Dreya Weber, Brazilian belly dancers, and more. Decorations will be
provided by Inflatable Arts.
"Podcasting has now become an integral part of the new media landscape and we'd like to spend an evening socializing and celebrating with our fellow content creators," said Richard Burns, co-founder of Culture Catch. "We held a very successful Salon at Macworld and we want to bring that energy here."
"With our Salons we attempt to personalize our smart culture digital content in a physical environment that can be enjoyed by everyone," said Dusty Wright. "As much as we love sharing culture in the digital domain, it's important to enjoy it on a physical level as well."
Join us at the 3rd Annual Podcast & New Media Expo, and if you're attending, make sure to come to the party.
