Synium Software GmbH Releases Beta of MacFamilyTree 5

Synium Software GmbH has announced a public beta of their MacFamilyTree version 5, Mac-only genealogy software. The application has been rewritten from scratch adding a configurable GUI and The Family Assistant.

Other changes include the exploitation of Apple's Core Data database, more flexible views and reports, a Virtual Globe which visualizes person and family events and migration and improved GEDCOM and .Mac support.


MacFamilyTree 5 (beta)

MacFamilyTree 5 (beta) requires Mac OS X 10.4.9 or later and a graphics system with at least 32 MB VRAM. It is priced at US$49.00.
