Montage 1.3 Now in Beta

Mariner Software announced the immediate availability of Montage 1.3 beta on Thursday. The beta version of the screenwriting application includes the ability to export Montage scripts in Screenwriter.
The beta update also added support for French, German, Italian, and Spanish, improved Final Draft importing, improved overall speed, and fixed several bugs.
Users can sign up to participate in the beta test at the Mariner Software Web site.

As much as I like Mariner software (and I use mine frequently) I don't see how they can charge the price they do for this. Obviously they are going after the market of Final Draft, MovieMage and Dramatica - companies who very high rates for their products - but Celtyx is free and the only thing a writer really needs from these things is the formatting, which Celtyx can do. (In fact I built a screen formatting template for Word 5.1 twelve years ago, and it's easier to do now than it was then.)
Thanks for your comment. I tried to find "Celtyx" and eventually found it as Celtx. It looks interesting/pretty good, and all the better that it is free as you say. And multiplatform (OS). I'm going to check it out and compare it to the expensive screenwriting software that you mention and see how it stands up.
