ShutterBug 2.3 Adds LightBox, More

XtraLean Software announced the immediate availability of ShutterBug 2.3 on Monday. The updated version of the image editing application added a new LightBox image viewer, enhanced HTML output, and more.
The new version also added filter controls for sharpness, brightness, contrast, and image saturation, added a new image processing engine, added iPhoto '08 and iMedia Browser compatibility, and added an option for looping QuickTime Xtras.
ShutterBug 2.3 is priced at US$39.95, and is available for download at the XtraLean Software Web site.

Shutterbug is NOT an "image editing application," anymore than iWeb is a word processor. Shutterbug builds web pages and sites. Initially, it made "gallery" pages, but it does a LOT more now. Indeed, XtraLean's site was created with Shutterbug.
XtraLean does have an image editor--of an unique sort--in the free ImageWell. (There are extra functions one can add for a small fee.)
