Microsoft Office 2004 11.3.9 Fixes Printing Issue

Microsoft Office 2004 11.3.9 Fixes Printing Issue

by , 8:50 AM EST, November 7th, 2007

Microsoft released Office 2004 for Mac 11.3.9 on Tuesday. The update corrects a problem that caused Word to unexpectedly quit when printing a document. The Office 2004 11.3.9 update requires Office 2004 11.3.8, and is available via the Office Auto Update application, or as a downloadable installer from the Microsoft mactopia Web site.

Subject: still one unfixed bug

Microsoft still has yet to fix the printing bug that allows Mac users to print a page range and NOT the entire document. The only two choices that work are All and Current page. The page range feature does not work and hasn't since Office 98.

What do you mean? I just printed pages 1, 3-4 (at the same time) of a 4-page document in Word 2004 without a problem on a Canon MP-800 in OS 10.3.9. I could find no mention of this problem on MacFixIt.com nor anywhere else. Perhaps you could help by showing where others have reported this. If no one else has reported the problem, then it may be a problem with something specific to your system.

where all our mail goes into the JunkMail folder and when clicking on the Not Junk button brings up the dialog box and you select to allow the mail, it adds it to your allowed list and if fails to let it in every time after and you are constantly clicking to allow it. 11.2.3 really messed things up. What is really needed is an application to revert the "forced updated" database so you can go back to versions that work.
