Photoshop CS3 10.0.1 Improves Web Saving, Printing

by , 8:10 AM EST, November 16th, 2007

Adobe released Photoshop CS3 10.0.1 Thursday evening. The updated version of the professional image editing application added the ability to include XMP metadata in documents when saving for the Web, and improved color matching when printing.

The new version also improved performance when moving objects with multiple layer sets, fixes a problem where converting CMYK images with certain profiles resulted in a black file, and corrected a problem where images saved as DICOM were corrupted when opened on a PowerPC-based Mac.

Photoshop CS3 is priced at US$649. The update is free for Photoshop CS3 10.0 users, and is available through the Adobe updater application, or as a download from the Adobe Web site.
