Apple to Open SF Chestnut Street Store on Black Friday

Apple is opening its new Chestnut Street store in San Francisco on Friday, November 23, at 10AM. The latest Apple retail location is opening on what is considered to be one of the most profitable shopping days in the United States: the day after the Thanksgiving holiday, or "Black Friday."

Like Apple's other retail locations, the Chestnut Street store will include a Genius Bar, Personal Shopping, One to One training, and public workshops. For a complete list of events and directions to the Chestnut Street store, visit the Apple Retail Web site.

I am a big fan of Apple and all the great inventions they've provided us. But how sad it is that they are allowed to build in high tech design when the rest of the stores in the MArina are quaint and cozy. It doesn't fit in ! Shame on the city for letting ithappen and shame on apple for not trying to adapt and try to fit into the community they live in. If you live in the Marina and need an apple product, go there to evaluate but buy it somewhere else, eg the net. I was excited to hear about an apple store, but not in this way !
