Apple Retail Stores Publish Extended Hours for Holidays

Apple announced special extended hours for their retail stores for the holiday weekend and have also published special hours well into January.

The store hours vary from store to store. So, to find the hours for the Apple retail store near you, go to Apple's retail store site, pick a state, then the store you want to visit from the popups.

On each store's page will be a logo, like the one displayed below, that will display the holiday hours not only for the coming weekend, but for the rest of the year and into January.

The only downside is that Apple Stores are located in the shopping malls which may be crowded and I hate crowds. Here in San Diego Area the Fashion Valley store opens on Friday and Saturday at 6:00 AM, University Towne Center store at at 7:00 AM and the Otay Ranch Store at 8:00 AM. Mervyn's, mostly clothing and bedding, opens on Friday at 4:00 AM

I was kind of looking forward to some mac discounts this holiday season. I almost was going to get a new MacBook for Christmas. I installed the recent Tiger update on my old G3 iBook and got a blue screen of death upon restart. I let it set for over an hour because sometimes a BSOD will eventually boot up. That didn't happen so I did a forced restart and the iBook did boot up. However, there was no AirPort connection and in the System Profile it said no card was installed. I fixed permissions and did a restart and things seem to back to normal.
