by , 3:00 PM EST, December 6th, 2007

In what has become a long-standing Christmas tradition, Charles Moore at Applelinks listed and described screen savers and desktop/menubar items for 2007 that have a Christmas theme on Thursday.

Items include a Quartz Composer screen saver with snowflakes, a 3D Christmas screen saver, a 3D Christmas Village screen saver, Frozen Frosted Frolics, WHITE, a new screen saver, Crisp Christmas screen saver, Snow Globe, and Santa Menubar.

For those who'd like to brighten up their Mac screens with Christmas oriented software, Charles Moore has listed a great collection of items to put you in the holiday spirit.

Why does the screen saver link take you to a PC only free screen saver site?

I did see the correct link, but inadvertently clicked the other in going for it.

Do PC sites really pay to advertise their stuff on Mac sites? Or is it the Ad dept. selling space just to make a buck? I('ve never been inclined to look at a PC due to a link, a Mac yes, a PC no.

Thank you Guest for pointing this out! I've removed the advertiser link for "screen saver" on this article. As you noticed, they're not always accurate and in this case... confusing!
