Mac OS X Christmas Theme Screen Savers

In what has become a long-standing Christmas tradition, Charles Moore at Applelinks listed and described screen savers and desktop/menubar items for 2007 that have a Christmas theme on Thursday.
Items include a Quartz Composer screen saver with snowflakes, a 3D Christmas screen saver, a 3D Christmas Village screen saver, Frozen Frosted Frolics, WHITE, a new screen saver, Crisp Christmas screen saver, Snow Globe, and Santa Menubar.

Why does the screen saver link take you to a PC only free screen saver site?
I did see the correct link, but inadvertently clicked the other in going for it.
Do PC sites really pay to advertise their stuff on Mac sites? Or is it the Ad dept. selling space just to make a buck? I('ve never been inclined to look at a PC due to a link, a Mac yes, a PC no.
