Apple Debuts "Now What" Get a Mac Ad
Apple Debuts "Now What" Get a Mac Ad

Apple launched yet another Get a Mac ad late Thursday with the ever familiar Mac and PC banter with Justin Long as Mac and John Hodgman as PC. This commercial highlights the computer buying experience in Apple's retail stores, Personal Shopping assistance, and One to One training. "Now What" is available at the Apple Web site in QuickTime format.

Observer Comments
I don't agree at all. The underlying message is that - notwithstanding impenetrable manuals and how-to books - PC buyers are on their own when they buy a Windows machine, as opposed to the Mac experience. It's not in your face like some of the other commercials but it strikes at one of the most fear-laden elements of purchasing, which is of course plucking the courage to walk into a computer store and make a decision, especially if you are a first-timer.
