Cracked Carol: Silver Phones
by , 8:40 AM EST, December 17th, 2007
Thanksgiving turkey is but a memory, men and women are going deaf from ringing that silly Salvation Army bell, and people are spending more time standing in lines at stores all across America than they do lying in bed sleeping. It must be The Christmas Holiday Season.
At The Mac Observer, we are all about traditions, and this year, just as we have in years passed, we are proud to offer to you, for your Holiday enjoyment, our version of a traditional Christmas tune.
So, without further ado, we proudly present to you what is sure to be a Holiday Classic: Silver Phones (sung to the tune of Silver Bells). Ê
City byways
Country highways
All across this great land
In the air there are bits busy flying
People chatting, People surfing
People jamming to tunes
And on every street corner you'll see
Silver phones, silver phones
It's iPhone time in the city
Ring-a-ling, hear them sing
iPhone and me all the way
City sidewalks
town I don't know
stretch for miles in each way
And I can't seem to get where I'm going
I'm not worried
bring up Google
Get the maps on display
Then let Grandma know I'm on the way
Silver phones, silver phones
It's iPhone time in the city
Ring-a-ling, hear them sing
iPhone and me everyday
