Quicky Antenna Gets More Rugged Case

QuickerTek announced the immediate availability an updated version of its Quicky wireless booster antenna for the Mac on Friday. The new Quicky includes a more rugged case designed to hold up better when traveling.


QuickerTek's Quicky for the Mac

The Quicky connects to a USB port and extends a Mac's wireless range by up to ten times. It includes a 500 milliwatt RF transceiver, and is compatible with Mac OS X 10.3.9, Mac OS X 10.4 or higher, and Mac OS X 10.5.

The Quicky is priced at US$225, and is available at the QuickerTek Web site.

How does this stack up to the Wi-Fire? The price is double of the Wi-Fire.
